The Cobalts are small reptile creatures, all of them display red scales and wear initially wear makeshift clothes.

•nono: is the second cobalt of the trio. He's seen as more healthier look compared to grubby, he wears blue shorts, a necklace with a tooth a wristbands made of tape if some kind (on his left) and and metal (on he's right wrist), he also has a bag. he's also a more reddish brown tan

•zepito: is a lighter shade of reddish orange, he wears black shorts, a sleeveless blue jacket with a bear on it, on his arms he wears some kind of fingerless gloves, he has a metal ring on his left arm

Background[edit | edit source]

Kota claims cobalts live and toil underground and used to been seen all around the "Old World" (Eurasia). They seem to enjoy shiny objects and are prone to being distracted. Often, the reptiles are seen playing around with each other, performing small "scenes" as they do. Before the staff members found them, they fed themselves by eating scraps from around The Hotel, even before that, they claimed to be have been close to starvation.

Mythology[edit | edit source]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The cobalts' textbox pattern is a zigzagging brown pattern similar to the color of their scales, and reminiscent of their sharp teeth.
  • The characters aren't called kobolds in-game because that name is a trademark by Wizards of the Coast, the publishers of Dungeons & Dragons.
    • A tongue-in-cheek in-universe theory is that Kota misheard Kobald as "Cobalts" somewhere along his travels
