Bane of the Hero of Athens[edit | edit source]
According to Hellenistic myth, the hero Theseus met his end at the hand of "the ruling king of Skyros." The island being Laomedon's final destination according to his Tablets, and the fact that he claims his father had some connection to the ruler of the island, Laomedon might have been the one to kill the hero out of revenge. Additionally, the monarch that is claimed to be the one responsible for killing the Athenian, could be Laomedon himself; alternatively, the ruler could have covered up for the Trojan.
